You choose your own medicine

Just like you I will try my own medicines first.
If I'm still not feeling well after about 3 days, I will consult a doctor.

I wouldn't get beyond the triage nurse with such mild symptoms.

Simple illness like these can be cured by taking the available medicine kits in our home.If I have a cough or mild fever,I just take one paracetamol and amoxicillin simultaneously then it will gone the same day.

I agree-I have lived long enough with some of these alments that I know what works for me- I only see Doctors on serious conditions-besides, they are very expensive, these Doctors on private practice.

My mother believes in self medication and also recommends medicines to her sisters and other relatives. Oh! she is now an unofficial doctor to them - LOL.

But i personally don't try medicines on my own. But since i fall sick often we always stack medicines and reuse the same medicine when someone is sick with the same illness or disease!:)

I would agree, i choose my medicines for those symptoms you've mentioned. I know what medicines works well with me and i have my guide as well on what side effects i will be experiencing when i take those meds. It's not really a severe condition that need a physician to attend to. And seeing a doctor is way too expensive:D
