Racism, will it be a thing of the past?

The world is populated by an incredible assortment of human being. All come with different background, and all shades. But beneath the differences, we are all humans and derive from one creator, heavenly creator. Despite this there exist racism along with intolerance and hatred. Do you think that people's eye will finally be opened to the shallowness and insignificance of their former attitudes. I don't see how things are ever going to change. Will they?

yes there are many people who are still thinking in that way but i think that we all should change and should be more open minded and we should all fight against racism.

i feel that one must respect fellow person no matter from where he/she is (even if they are from other country or other region) ... in fact i believe in humanity ...
and i feel that those who don't know to respect others are be ignored by the society.

I honestly believe that racism will never grow old and never fade away with time,because too many people hold onto to old outdated beliefs,and I do not think they will ever realize that we are all created equally,just like some people will never stop being sexist.

It is very sad,that it will not ever fade with time, especially with all the advances made to make the world equal,but some people will never let the old ways of things not exist anymore,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.

Maybe we are too short-sighted and only see our tribal roots. Maybe if we looked farther in our evolutionary past we will find that we proceed from the same bacteria. Maybe we wouldn't be so proud of our race at all after that.

I have my doubts that it will ever be gone intirely. I think that the reprecussions financially and educationally have and will continue to decrease.
Until the whole world can see that it is ridiculous to be proud of something you have NO control over, racism will continue.

I don't believe that racism will ever be a thing of the past. It is so silly though, when you really think about it because not one of us chose our skin color/heritage. God chose it for us. He created us all in "HIS IMAGE". So we are all the same in his eyes. I believe those people who are racist will be judged by God one day. I have seen how racism affects my life with my mixed son. It will be a long row to hoe, but I believe he will grow up to be a very strong man. I named him Justice because I knew there would be those people who would look down on him because of his skin color and I believe that one day "justice" will be served to those people.

Racism has been aroudn since the dawn of time I'm sure and it will ALWAYS be around unfortunately....Sad to say it but the reality is this, as long as the racists of today are bringing children into this world and raising them in a racist home, it will continue on....

I don't think it will ever change either. Unless, there is only one race in the future. :/ People are always going to base some of their judgements on the way people look. Color, weight, gender, etc. will always be factors of the way people are, and there's always going to be people that are racist, prejudice, sexist, etc.
