Are you wearing the colourless or coloured ones? What was your first experience with wearing them like?
I wear the coloured ones. I usually opt for turquoise or blue. But I have tried the amethyst too and it does look subtle on me since I have chocolate brown eyes.
My first experience about trying to put them on was at this optical clinic. The optometrist asked me to try putting it on my eyes by myself. I was screaming in my head, "Eff, eff, eff! I wished I'd never done this! I wished I wasn't so careless with my eyeglasses!"
But a day after things made a 360-degree turn. I've never been more comfortable wearing them. =)

My daughter wears contacts and she has no problem sticking herself in the eye with her finger. I can't do it...I've wanted to do it but I don't think I could get past that finger in the eye, even if they do come up with a lense that will work for my vision problems.

Hehe. It does take some time to get used to.

I wear contacts sometimes. It's def hard to put them in sometimes. I put mine in different..I can't just put it in the center of my eye I blink too much. What I do is put it on the bottom part of my eye and then move it up. It seems to work for me.
But my husband just puts it in the center of his eye and it only takes him 1 time to put them in. With my left eye it's easy with my right it's harder since I'm right handed.
If you really wanted to try them just go to walmart or even to hour eyes or something and tell them you just want to try on a pair of samples to see if you can do it before getting contacts. I think it would be easier for you to put yours in like I do mine. @joliefille (3690)

I do it that way too. I put it in the center of my eye, look downwards and then blink.
