to me if you agree to take a survey then you shouldnt be upset when asking about your race or age or income!! i mean if you want to hit the refuse to answer button during these surveys you shouldnt sign up for them in the first place right??

Oh, I agree. When I take surveys I intend on being completely honest. The only time I have issues is when there are maybe 2 or more answers that I could choose but have to pick just one, then I just pick the one that is either most applicable, or even what I'm thinking at the moment is most important. And for the income part I have had problems with that because I am a recent graduate and don't have a job, and I don't really know our household income, but even then I usually just estimate it. So yea, people should expect to answer all the questions if they want to do surveys.

another thing i hate is when you choose that you do NOT have or buy whatever and then the next page ask you what kind you own.. its like uhhhh wtf?!?!?!

oh yea! That is annoying! Also, when it asks if you rent or own your house. I always own, because I live at home and my parents own it, but technically I don't *own* anything. Maybe that's just overanalyzing, but it is just another little thing that bugs me. hehe

I agree, I signed up with survey sites so I could give my opinion and provide truthful information. It's not like they are going to share this information with anyone except for the research company, your answers are confidential. But i do admit I have pressed the "prefer not to say" and the "refuse to answer" button before when the survey seemed like it would never end, it didn't work that well though. People who are new to the whole taking surveys thing might be hesitant because there are a lot of sites out there that claim to be legitimate when they are not and they sell their information. But they should also do research before joining a site in which you are going to share personal information with, many fail to do this and end up getting scammed. They then go on thinking every site is a scam if it wants personal information. •¤•Good Luck•¤•

Yea, people who refuse those questions are just ridiculous! It's not really a personal question, either your male or female. If people are so worried about those questions maybe they shouldn't be taking surveys.

Then they shouldn't make it a choice. I've refused maybe once because I was hoping it would end the survey, it was too long.

Right. Aren't we proud of who we are anyway... I never refused to answer such a basic question. I guess we can thank the extremists for that button. Have a good one
