Staying in love

I think it is not so much because of the need. It's due to the fact that after a while, we get used to the existence of our spouse. His/her sight doesn't arouse the same sensation as it used to earlier simply because you see him/her all the time. Also, before marriage, when you used to go to see your spouse, you would usually have been in your best attire, and tried to look as best as possible. It's not possible to keep up that "heavenly" look all the time after marriage. Also, when we finally get our beloved one, we start taking him/her for granted. That is a major factor in reducing the charm of the relation.
