I've had one for many years and never had to use it. I don't even know if it would still work. I'm not even sure HOW it works! Lol.
I saw an ad in a magazine for a litte one in can. It looks pretty cool. It's called 'Tundra' by 'First Alert'.
I might get one of those. Or maybe two... One for upstairs and one for downstairs.

I have had one ever since we have lived in a house with a fireplace. We have never had to use it, but it is nice that it is there. Actually, we have 3 in different areas, just in case. A small one in the kitchen, one in the den where the fireplace is, and one upstairs. I think maybe we are over cautious but better safe than sorry.

With the way I cook, heck yea! I do have one, if you're not sure if it still works check on the label or around the clip (the one that you pull) and it should have an expiration date. If its past, you might want to get a new one. Plus, let your insurance company know, they give a discount for those smart people who might save them from filing a claim one day.

I know there is one in my house. It's in one of the closets near the kitchen. I have no idea which one. Whoops. I know my mom showed me. Maybe I should go check.
Thanks for reminding me.

You can bring it to an expert to have it check or calibrated. It should be calibrated every three months to make sure that it is fine all the time.
This is one of the stuff that I don't have in my house right now, so I need to have it soon.

We have about 3.I do know one of them has been unarmed by one of our grandsons when he was smaller. He pulled out the key and sprayed my laundry room. You should have seen the mess on all that dark paneling! My husband and I were talking about our fire extinguishers other day. They are so old we don't know if they would work or not. We really need to get some new ones. But I've never heard of the Tundra. Might need to check that one out.

Are you kidding me? My husband is a firefighter and my father-in-law is the chief of the local fire department. I believe we have a total of 5 fire extinguishers in my house, and like clockwork my batteries in the smoke detectors get changed and tested. Have any of you changed the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors?
