"Morning after Pill should be Over the Counter"

I check my spam mail everyday because some stuff that's important comes through there. However I do get a lot of trash and one e-mail was titled "Morning After Pill should be Over the Counter" and I didn't get to look at the e-mail because it was a picture e-mail that I didn't allow because one: Why am I being asked this? and two: It's spam anyways. But it brought up the thought. I am not trying to get into a pro-Life / Pro-Choice anti-abortion type discussion, I am trying to talk about the types of birth controls and what seems right and wrong. I think that "The Pill" is a wrong type of birth control, for example because I think it's very harmful to the woman's body. What does everyone else think?

I don't know where you live, but Plan B which is the morning after pill is available OTC in many states in the USA. Anyone over the age of 18 can get it from their pharmacy without a prescription. If you are under 18, either get a friend or family member to buy it for you or go to the doctor and get a prescription. The pill can be harmful to a woman's body, but when a woman gets pregnant, the changes in her body due to the pregnancy are far, far worse than a pill taken over the course of 15 or so years.
