How do you spend your online earnings?  |

 Is the money you make all spent on bills, do you treat yourself to something special, or do you sock it back for a rainy day? Up until this year I was spending nearly every penny I earned on "extra". This year my hubby and I decided that any money I make online we are going to save for either retirement or the unexpected. Though I do plan to set 25% aside for my once a year "me time" trip to Burning Man.

1.  esined6200 (281) | 4 months ago |  Those are some very good ideas for saving freedomg...me, myself... right about now all of my earnings are going towards gas. It takes roughtly 90.00 to fill up my tank so I am using the extra money I make on-line to keep my tank full..LOL, I haven't had a very steady flow of money as of yet cause I am still learning about some sites, still tryna get my feet wet with a few things...but I have had some luck finding a site that I think I will be able to get a pretty good stash from here and there. Now I do treat myself every now and then to a nice dinner.. or a movie.. I used some of my earnings to take my kids to go see Wall E this past Friday.

How was Wall E I'm dieing to see it but am waiting for it to go to the local drive in. I can get all 7 of us in for $25 which is way cheaper than a regular theater. | |

I promise there were scenes in the movie where I had to do a double take 'cause it looked so real. It is definitely in my top 10 for animation. There was scene towards the end ( and I won't give the movie away) where I promise I had tears in my eyes. I was like Denise, girl pull yourself together its just a cartoon,but it was so cute...wonderful screenplay... and a MUST have when it comes out on DVD..so as soon as you can go and see it...you guys will fall in love... PROMISE!!! | |

I never really save any if i am honest altho i do wish i could because i have so many things that i need to save up for its unreal lol
ah well im never really any good with money, it burns holes in my pockets (or paypal) so to speak lol!

Because it is the main source of my income, I use it for bills and regular household stuff. However, I do take a great portion and invest it back in. I have started doing some programs that are more MLM with monthly costs, etc. I think it's about leverage and the more you have, the more you can make.:)

Every time I get paid I transfer the money to my bank account in case of an emergency. I spent some of my online earnings today because my mother didn't have money so I spend some and bought a few things. Mostly some soday and snacks. But yeah and then when I enter college I use some of the earnings for my metrocard and my starbucks and stuff. If I get a big check from one of my survey sites then I am able to buy at least one book for college.

I've gotten quite a bit from MyPoints (about $800.00 now), but they don't pay in cash. You have to choose a gift card as payment. I always get gift cards for WalMart because you get the most for your money there. Sometimes, I save them up and give them as Christmas gifts.
I love your idea of putting it away for retirement! I don't work, but my hubby won't work forever! Wait a sec... he just might. He LOVES his work!
Since I love going to garage sales, second-hand stores and flea markets, I was thinking of spending the money I make here at those places. I collect unusual brass objects and plan to begin selling them on Ebay after I clean them up and polish them to their original brilliance. I've found some great brass objects (some are actually antiques!) in these places.
Oh, geez, I just don't know!! I've only made one payout from myLot so far, and that's still sitting in my paypal account. I guess I really should move it over to my bank account, huh?

If I were to make a lot more money, I would spend on entertainment and stuff, but I want to get some things paid off as quickly as possible.

| tigertang (1485) | 4 months ago |  Wow! You could probably make a decent living by selling the secrets of how to make money online, enough so that you won't have to get too stressed out by your day job. I mean, do you have a load of referrals or are you earning based on your own efforts?
For me, mylot is probably the most hard work of all my online earning activities. I mean, one actually has to say something vaguely intelligent in order to get paid here, unlike the case of ptc's where one simply has to click a few ads and let them run for about 30 seconds. However, mylot is by far and away the most reliable of all the internet site payers that I have encountered.
I made a shade over $16 in my last payout on mylot and I'm really pleased that I not only earned more than I did in my first payout, I did it at a much faster rate. I am now working towards payout number three, because if I can do that, I think I can see a decent savings pile at the end of the year.
However, I am realistic enough to know that as happy as I am to have earnt more in a quicker period of time, this is still a very small amount of money - barely enough to buy one a meal out if one lives in a city of over a million plus people.
My first set of earnings in my paypal account, which came from mylot and two other ptcs were converted into loans on Kiva. I figured that the money was not significant enough for me to transfer to my bank. It was not earning me interest in my paypal account, and so I figured I might as well get the money to live by doing good through helping people who would not be able to work on mylot. As of today, I am glad to say that nearly 33% of my loans have been repaid.
This time, I think my earnings are going to be a bit more regular and a bit higher. I should probably save it or invest it. I am attracted to the idea of trying to get this bit of pocket change to have some small returns for me, and I'm wondering if there are ways where this change can do good and make me some returns at the same time.
