| 9. GreenMoo (1861) | 2 months ago |  I can't even remember the last time I bought a fast food meal, probably the last time I met a friend of mine in the UK who insists on meeting in McDonalds. If I bought one tomorrow, I'd choose to either drink 7-up or Orange juice with it though.
As an aside, what do you mean by lemonade? This is obviously another of those English English/ American English things I keep coming across! In the UK, we'd think of something like 7-up as being lemonade, and we'd call that a soft drink. So if lemonade isn't a soft drink where you are, what is it?

| GardenGerty (13262) | 2 months ago |  Lemonade, traditionally is a drink made with juice of a lemon, and sugar and water. Often served with thin slices of lemon floating in it. It is not carbonated. I think mostly we call soft drinks, or pop a carbonated drink. Then of course there are the versions of Hard Lemonade, which have some kinds of alcohol in them. Not sure what, I do not drink alcoholic beverages. At McDonalds I get the little milk jug of white 1% milk. And a water. That is where I learned that lowfat milk does not taste bad at all.
