Does any one have a home remedy for killing weeds and grass? I have grass growing in the cracks of my driveway. Somewhere I heard about using vinegar, or amonia or some other household substance for killing grass. Does any one know what it is??

Boiling water works. Plain vinegar is something to try. I do not recommend salt anywhere where you will be planting. But it might work. Some plants do not like salt and will not do well if there is salt in the soil. Don't use ammonia. It is nitrogen and will only be fertilizing the weeds.

Thanks for your information. I did try the boiling water and the weeds were turning brown the next day. Had about the same results with vinegar.
