Also, they've been upgrading a lot of their features, including their mail. Perhaps it's just Yahoo classic e-mail that is closing. Last I heard, Yahoo is doing very well, especially since we are in a recession right now.

2.  Wolfechu (821) | 4 months ago |  I've not heard this, and to be honest, it wouldn't worry me much if it turned out to be true. Which I doubt, personally. Yahoo's probably the third biggest email provider out there, after Microsoft and Google.
If it happened, I wouldn't be too upset, given my yahoo address is only a secondary email. But given that yahoo mail is central to most of their services (My Yahoo, 360, Yahoo answers), I really can't see it.

Really, if that happens, I imagine your yahoo account will just migrate to being based off Gmail. Which is no bad thing, considering it's a much better designed and fluid service. | |

| 5. leizlmarie (1841) | 4 months ago |  i've received lots of notification about that before from anonymous people saying they are staff from yahoo or the like and always ask to forward the notification to all in my contact list, if not they'll inactivate my account because they'll now be serving limited yahoo members for better performance.. in short, its knda chain message! but i dont believe it all, i dont do what they asked to do but still my yahoo account is activated so far! so i think its all false alarm!
