Does anyone else's kids climb into bed with them?

No I do not allow my children to do this. If they have a bad dream, or are awakened by thunder, then they bring in their sleeping bags, and sleep on the floor next to me. They think they are camping, and feel safe, yet are not actually intruding on my bed space.

I do not have any kids but when i was younger, my parents use to let me cuddle between them if i got scared or was sick.

Yes, my son climbed in our bed until he was 5 years old. I thought that he would never stop sleeping with us. Nothing like waking up to feet in your ribs. lol He is now 20 years old and normal as any other person. They will grow out of it honest.

our daughters are older (11 and 15) and they still come into our bed when they have bad dreams or what not, but our younger daughter was coming into our bed for about a week straight and we told her if she kept doing this, she would start to loose privilages (better than bribing them).

Me and my husband fall asleep in our bed of course. The kids both fall asleep in their beds. When we wake in the morning we have the kids and the cats and the dog in the bed with us. This is like a 3 out of 7 morning thing. If I wake int he middle of the night and one of them has already jumped in with us and fell asleep, then I put them back into their bed, hoping maybe that they will stay there. lol.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Only one of my four kids didn't get in bed with me. My oldest is twenty-three and sometimes he comes in when I'm napping and he'll lay down with me and we talk. It's nice. But I have to add if your husband doesn't like it, it could develop into a very real problem so go carefully there is my advice.

My son is 8 and my daughter is 3. Everyone starts off the night in their own beds, but there are some nights that they end up in bed with us. Heck, there are some nights I have found myself going to soothe them from a bad dream and and I end up falling asleep in their beds! ha! By not making it a huge deal, they both feel comfortable enough to know that they can come in by us when they need to but they don't abuse it. The way that I have always looked at it is that there is going to come a day when they are teenagers and want nothing to do with their boring parents and I have to soak up every minute of snuggle time I can get now!

I can feel for your husband as my husband feels the same way regarding our 7 month old son sleeping in our bed sometimes! He just doesn't like to sleep in his crib. I do make an effort to keep him in there, but he still wakes every 2 -3 hours, sometimes less and does not go back to sleep. He cries very loud and is very stubborn. However, when we put him in our bed he sleeps peacefully and up to 4 hours at a time. My husband says "he's taking over!".. smile. My other two girls don't ever climb into bed with us - they've been in their cribs since 3 weeks of age, and now in their own beds. I think I spoiled my son, knowing he was my last "baby".

Lol! I'm really laughing at you saying "When I wake up, everyone except the baby is in my bed"
My youngest son would do that...Go to bed in his bed but sometime in the middle of the night get into my bed....until he was 12 years old! I didn't mind because it was just me. Now he's 14 and he rarely ever comes out of his room at all! Lol. But now the dog and cat sleep with me.
