Brilliant Tiger Lily

No picture to see. I'm sure the orange is very pretty. I love bright colored flowers myself.

Because I live in Canada I thought I would add this to my response for those who didn't know.
WESTERN RED LILY
The red lily is the floral emblem of Saskatchewan Canada.
It grows in wet places (meadows, ditches and wooded areas).
The flower blooms from late June to mid July.
It is a beautiful flower with reddish-orange blossoms.
When the pioneers first came to the prairies
there were thousands of lilies blooming.
This flower is now protected .
This means that you should not pick the lily.
It grows from a bulb so once the bulb is pulled out
the flower will no longer grow.
This flower was put on the Saskatchewan
flag to remind people of wild flowers.
I saw a picture one time of a lily, it was so pink it was almost purple with almost black highlights. It was the most georgous looking thing and I instantly wished I could have seen it with my own eyes. Outside of that I really don't have a favorite color I also like calla lillies and they're just white.

I love tiger lillies, I like the orange ones too, I thought that was the only colour they came in though so it is surprising to find that there are other colours too. I could have lillies now if I wanted too, I could never have them before because I had cats and I was told that they were poisonous to them. I used to tell my cats if they misbehaved I would give them lillies for their tea!

I love the orange one. Its so beautiful. My hubby wont plant any because they are so short lived. I dont care, they are pretty and Im going to get back on his case to plant some.

my mom has some deep violet ones in her garden and they are really pretty. I also like these yellowish ones a lot.

I think Tiger Lilies are really pretty, i don't have a faveourite colour as such though. I love all types of lilies, i think i might have deep purple cala lillies for my wedding flowers in November.

I love the orange ones because they used to grow outside my grandparents' house. I also love those vines with the trumpet blossoms on them. Grandpa was so allergic to them but wouldn't let anyone tear them down because they were so beautiful. Same with the tiger lilies, he let those orange lilies grow all over!

oh my goodness! i would love to have a bunch of those tiger lilies on my dining room table! lilies are beautiful flowers no matter what color that they are. but the orange lily that you provided the photograph of here at Mylot, is just beautiful! thanks so much for sharing that beautiful photograph of the orange lily with all of us here at Mylot! and what color of lilies do i have? lol none. and another favorite flower that i like are the coneflowers. i think that they are just beautiful. and btw, how many lilies do you have growing? thanks for sharing.
