How long does the effect of a horror movie remain in you?

usually if its scary enough to get to me (which is very rare since im a horror movie junky) it stays for months but its not like im scared but i am disturbed in remembering it.. not like im leaving my light on at night because im scared it will happen to me etc

No matter how scary the movie is the scare it gives me lasts just one night. Praying and knowing that you are protected by the one from above makes me brave from movies and the horror of real life as well:)

Usually just an hour or so. If it is really good, it will keep me thinking a few days. The first Saw movie did this. And I think it was wrong turn, I might be wrong though.

Comming straight to the point a horror can have its impact for about 2-3 days and it depends on factors like: 1.Individual(How strong he is at heart) 2.The intensity of the film 3.The condition of the viewer and the place where it is viewed etc Good Luck.
