The Value of the United Nations

I would be interested to know what is the value of the UN and what has it achieved in the 60 years it has been operating. Has it resolved any world problems. My Lot is a world wide forum so I would be interested in the thought of the US Citizens and Citizens from around the world. Have you seen the UN in Action?
