I hope each one of you have and do have a blessed day! I hope you enjoy whatever you set out to do today! Here in the US it is Independence Day and there will be fireworks and grilling and all kinds of activities. It is a regular Friday for me except my hubby is off work. We don't have many plans at all today. We don't even have to leave the house to see fireworks tonight because where we live is on a high hill and on our farm and we can see 11 or so different fireworks. It is awesome! Have a blessed day!

happy independence day to you... i bet there will be lots of activities happening there at the moment to celebrate it... it is very good that you don't have to go out from your house to watch the fireworks at all... it is wonderful... and you can see 11 different fireworks from your house... it must be really nice... sometimes i think it is good to live in a country on the top of the hill as i will be able to enjoy the scenery... but the problem is i have to work and earn money first now since i am still young... may be when i get older, i will plan to move to the countryside... take care and have a nice day...

Happy fourth to you too! Sounds like you have the best view that one could have. I worked until three today and then I came home and took a little nap, missed the show that I wanted to watch, I woke up right as it was going off. I'm doing a little work around the house right now. I might venture out and see if I can see some fireworks and see if I can capture some shots with my camera. Other than that I don't have anything going on special today.

Hello mamacathie,
Happy 4th of July to you all there in the U.S.A It's great seeing all those fireworks going up while you are at your home. You don't have to travel to enjoy the scenery. With barbecue in hand it will be a wonderful sights.
We have also just celebrated our indepence day last June 12. We don't have any fireworks just like you celebrate in your area. If was not even a holiday on that day. Our president have a knock of moving holidays and it was move on Monday, which was supposed to on Thursday. Since there is no celebration yet, what do you do? Simple go to work. Our independence is not celebrated as you do there because the think we fought to gain our indepence is still in here. Our colonial mentality is still upon us and we are not truly free yet. Maybe in time we could overcome this and we will celebrate indepence just like you do.
Cheers! and have a Happy 4th of July.

That's great! I can't see any from where I am but just found out they set them off last night--no wonder the dogs were going nuts, I had to block off the dog door. We didn't see any of the official ones but all over the neighborhood people were setting off fireworks and there were lots of sirens. I hope nobody was seriously injured but also hope whatever happened taught them a lesson without doing much damage.
Happy 4th!
