Whats spam (not the canned meat) to you?

Just like junk mail, it all depends. If I get a catalog that is about something I don't like, it's junk mail to me. If it's a catalog that interests me, it's not.

Spam, to me, is junk email that I have asked to have stopped (unsubscribed) and I am still receiving. If it comes as a legitimate ad, and I am not interested, if I have time, I will unsubscribe. If I am not able to, like they give me no option to do so, it becomes a part of my spam report.

Phishing mails and real spam I will report to spam@uce.gov, as they want this reported so they can investigate.

To me spam is unwanting email which is junk etc. Sometimes your good email will end up into spam so you will need to put these on your whitelist. I don't normally put this into spam to I see were a letter was sent to me informing me that they have been sending mails to me and not getting through so I check and see for myself and see that it was there. But I guess alot of person have different views were this is concern.

I define 'spam' as something pushed at you which you did not ask for.
The other is 'scam' when something that was supposed to be good is the ooposite, but through no fault of your own.

I must admit that other sort of 'Spam' mmmm - can't get it here and I would love some 'fritters'

When I feel at my most cynical this site feels like spam to me! I sometimes like spam fritters though - so I fritter some time here...

Spam is unsolicited information. In other words information that one did not request! Or information that was canceled or unsubscribed to because of no further interest - but yet & still - Keeps arriving relentlessly in your inbox.

Yes. Spam is all unwanted junk mail. Spam can also be mail that is sent to you and it is not legitimate mail. I have signed up for things and these places sell my email address to other places without my consent. They are spamming me with all of the junk. They spam me with offers they are not going to abide by also.

spam to me is just unsolicited emails.or pop-ups on websites.if i didn't ask to be sent it,it goes in the circular file
