Sweepstakes, Won Any Lately?

I have been entering these sweepstakes very regularly but so far i have never won any prize I hope to one of these days.But I have entered numerous contests that come in magazines and I have won several small prizes like cookware, dinner sets, cosmetics, clothes,small amounts of money etc.Its a great thrill.I am eyeing the really big prizes like a car or a house I know I will one day win a bumper prize.Just keep entering any contest that comes your way whether you win or not just keep going at it.One day it will work out,that's how i got into these contests.you then get hooked on to it.

I have been entering sweepstakes off and on for about 8 years. I wish I had more time to enter but raising a family, working, etc. gets into the way. I won our first DVD player 8 years ago. I have also won a Nintendo DS, Gameboy Micro, DVD's, tshirts, gift cards, and hit the mother load in May 2007. Sony was having an instant win for a big screen tv, I was trying to win that; but we got a phone call stating we were one of the 5 grand prize winners and we won the music trip. The prize company was wonderful to work with. Since the trip included a concert and other activities we really had a lot to work with. I told the prize company that I wanted to either get to Disneyworld or Disneyland, since DH and kids had never been. Well, we got it worked out that we got to see Hannah Montana (8 rows away) and stay at Disneyland for three days. Talk about a dream come true. They also awarded us $5,000. Our trip was first class all the way. My advice is to enter whatever you can each and every day and hang in there, you will win. I save my favorite sweeps and try to enter then every day. I also have signed up at several websites and every day I go out there and make sure I enter the sweeps that are going to expire the next day. I also don't enter sweeps that don't interest me. If you win cash, I would save at least 1/2 for taxes, that's what we did for our disney trip. We wound up having to pay taxes that year due to the trip but I had the money stashed away, so there was no problem. At the end of the taxes, we wound up paying $800 for a very awesome trip, considering we are from MD and went clear across the country. Any questions, just pop me a message.
