What a fun trip to Atlantic City!!!

Yesterday I went to Atlantic City with my husband and in-laws to celebrate our Anniversaries. We were married on their 20th anniversary and try to spend the time together when we can. We always invite them to join us when we go to Atlantic City since we know they like to gamble as much as I do. Since it's a little over a 3 hour drive they usually say no (we don't stay the night and sometimes that's too much time in a car for them), but this time they surprised us and said yes! We left around 6am, got there close to 10am - we stopped for breakfast on the way. At about 3pm we hooked up with them for lunch and assessed how much longer we were going to be there. We were getting a bit low on funds - the craps table wasn't as nice to me as I was hoping it would be - but they were doing a bit better (probably because they brought more money to start with!) so we opted for a couple more hours. I found a slot machine that liked me - $150 out for about $20 in - and then went back to the craps table for a while. Although it wasn't great, I did do ok for a while. At one point I was at a break-even point for the day, but it started to go away so I called it quits with about half of my original money left. All in all, it was a great day! I usually have no intentions of bringing money home with me, it's entertainment value only, so it's good when I don't come home empty handed. Of course I was hoping this was going to be a plus day for me and I'd bring home a bit more than I took! Well, we're going to Vegas next month for a few days so maybe I'll have a bit better luck there!!!
