Incoming calls

It happens when we receive calls frequently from some persons whom we do not want to entertain, either we cut the line or leave it unattended! Other times we attend to the incoming calls promptly. The question is about the habit! Do you attend the incoming calls immediately on one ring, or after a little pause, noting the call number?

If I can tell from the calling number that it is a telemarketer, I'll just let the phone ring. If I've already answered when I find out that it is a salesperson or someone soliciting for some cause, I try to nicely advise them I'm not interested. If they won't take NO for an answer, I just hang up. If it's one of those record sales pitches, I hang up immediately.

Nice question! I usually look at the phone number from the Caller ID and try to figure out who it is. It could have a been a different story if there is no caller ID. There are calls that I really avoid. Especially I know if it's a telemarketer and has been constantly calling. It's quite a bad habit some times. As for people I know that I'm avoiding, I usually give in after a few calls and pick the phone up. If I'm waiting for a very important call though and I don't know the number, I almost always pick it up on the first ring. Usually for business.

if i dont feel like talking i just let it ring becuase if i send it to voicemail most of the time my friends can tell. but i answer it for my mom because if i dont she will call on my other phones and my boyfriends phone and she is so paranoid when i finally do answer she will act all hysterical and a where i was cause she was worried and i'm like i was taking a bath. and i definitely dont answer it if it is a bill collector or a telemarketer.
