MyLot? It teaches me how to interact with people all around the world, such as you fellow, as one of the members. I do feel happy to join these. I am an English teacher here in a vocational high school. I always spend some times to open MyLot everyday. I feel happy to have all of you, friends.

Mylot has made me a more patient person, cause I have to deal with people from all over the world. I am a better person for having so diverse a friendship pool.

myLot has given me a window into other worlds, into other peoples lives that helps me keep a saner perspective on life. I've recently moved to a small town and, until I start working again, my social contact is extremely limited. And I like it like that. A lot! And, given my solitary nature, my inclination to isolation can be potentially "hazourdous to my health". When I sit down to visit the myLot world, I read (and sometimes contribute to) discussions ranging from serious to borderline crazy. But they are all fascinating. And interesting. And so varied. And, most of all, they are being written by real people. Through myLot, I have an opportunity to meet fascinating people in a way that I could not meet them in person.

I'm retired and generally anti-social by nature. Large crowds make me very nervous, and people have a way of being too close and too "present" for too long a time in person. I like short visits with a few people at a time, but I mostly value my "alone" time. Here on mylot I get the benefit of friendly, informative, or funny communication on my terms. I can sign off when I get overwhelmed. Here on mylot I've met many friendly, helpful people. They've helped me through troubling times, opened my eyes to different cultures, supported and encouraged me in my endeavors, put up with my rants on little things that don't really matter, but that drive me nuts, and just generally been very good friends. Mylot is my connection to the outside world especially now that gas is so high.
