Rock Band is too much fun!  | | | |  A bunch of friends got together on Saturday night. The plan was originally that the guys were going to play video games while the girls worked on crafts. Well, as it turned out, it ended up being a mixed group of folks playing video games. The guys broke out Rock Band, but some of them were having a hard time getting through some of the songs. So somehow I got drafted to sing (funny because I was a little bit hoarse due to sore throat), and another girl was playing the drums. But we finally got through that song! :)
Of course, now my fiance and I really want to buy this game for our brand new PS3. But we're waiting, as it's a lot of money to spend for a game!

| |  MY kids finally got it. They wanted it for quite some time and saved money for it, so finally we helped them out with the rest and they got it.
They love it and I enjoy playing with them too:)
SOmetimes a group of their friends come over just to play and it's such fun:)

| | It's definitely the sort of game that would be much more fun with a crowd. I think it will be okay with two of us, though not as much fun. But we need some sort of multi-player game. :)

| |  I can't beleive you guys bought a PS3! T. wanted to be loyal to Sony but the allure of Dead Rising was too much, so we got an Xbox 360. He loved Mass Effect,Gears of War, and Assassin's Creed (except for the stupid glitch).
Rock Band looks super cool, but it is way expensive. And Dead Rising is soooo hard...T. likes the concept, but agreed with all the reviewers that the game is just way difficult. Fun though, 'cause you have to take pictures as part of the game :)

| | We were given an X-Box by some friends who just got a 360, so J was satisfied with being a generation behind on that one. And he has no desire at all to own a Wii. :)
He's playing Assassin's Creed like a madman lately... what's the stupid glitch? He will not be a happy monkey if his game starts screwing up...

| | Apparently Assassin's Creed has a bunch of them but the one that threw T. for a loop is in the final mission --on the Xbox if you have a second controller plugged in, you will get a clone of the main character who mimics everything you do, gets in your way and when he gets hit, you take damage. Turns out, Xbox fix was to unplug the extra controller, but I have read that the glitches are worse for the PS3--I think there was a patch to download, maybe? | | | |
