Why money online?

While there are many other ways of making extra money, that too good money, like share market, commodity market, mutual funds, why people prefer to make internet money? Is it easy money?

I like to make money doing things I enjoy; I won't do stupid things for money. That's just my personal rule. This website helps me with writer's block, which I sadly have an issue with of late. It's my vegetation place. I can't vegetate and just stare at TV, so I come here to write and clear my mind until I get a spark that lets me get back to bigger and more important projects in my life.
