Do you like for a movie to start with what you think will be the ending? Then, the movie goes back to the beginning and gets you involved in the movie for almost two hours and you think all the time that you know the very ending of the movie.
This afternoon, I was watching a movie on television. They showed the cops jumping out with their rifles and guns. The woman they stopped was wanted for a murder. She was upset, her phone rang, and as she started to pick it up, a gun shot rang out. I immediately assumed she had been killed, knowing the murder was actually in self-defense.
Well, I watched the movie right to that part, all the while telling my husband, who had come in from work, that she was about to get killed. Well, low and behold, the third man I had seen running up in the first part of the movie, saw she was picking up her cell phone. He shoved the rifle up in the guys arms just as he pulled the trigger, saving her. She quickly opened the driver's door and slid out on the ground.
I had already gotten upset that they were going to kill her. She hadn't owned up to being the killer. She had gone to the man's x-wife and found she had also been almost killed, but she wouldn't testify for this woman. But, when they went looking for his body on his land, they found 2 women in the well, along with his body. The detective in charge knew then that the woman he had was telling him the truth when she said he raped me. This man they thought was such a big, nice businessman in the community turned out to be a serial killer! What a surprise ending! I love these kind of movies.

I love watching movies that keeps you on your toes and thinking.
Too bad I don't get much of that anymore. I cannot watch tv without being interrupted so I give up one them. I rent them from blockbuster.
Sometimes the killer is someone well respected so they get away with a lot because the police never suspect them.

Mulholland Drive and The Illusionist come to mind. I basically guesses these movies from the beginning. The Illusionist was easier because at the beginning of the film it said 'Don't believe everything that you see' or something. And so I didn't and I predicted that whole getaway thing. But Mulholland Drive was twice as hard, lol. You really have to see it at least four times to understand a second of it. I love this types of movies that keep you guessing.

When it comes to movies,I like trying to guess how they will end from the way they start, and I always love it when I am wrong about the ending, and it turns out to be other than what I expect, especially when it comes to movies with a lot of action, which those are the type of movies I like the most.
