second hand laptop! do u use??  | |  I bought a second hand laptop .A T40 Thinkpad .It's not a modern computer but it suit with my pocket .Buying a new laptop is over my fund .And now,I use it and I think it good for my purposes .And u? what do u think about second hand laptop?

I got mine new, only beause I have crappy luck when it comes to electronics. I wanted to have at least a two year warrenty on mine just in case something went wrong.
Trust me, I would rather pay less, but with the way my life rolls? Its just better for me to go new.

| | | 2. amitavroy (3212) | 4 months ago |  well i do think it is not a very good thing to buy a second hand laptop. specially from a local dealer. i think if a company if giving it then we can think over it but if not then i would rather avoid it. most of the time a person will sell his laptop if there is a problem in it. other wise he will not. or you will get an age old laptop which will not work in the current requirement so the person sold it. in both the case i think the purpose is not solved.
