do you floss before brushing your teeth? |
|
we should brush our teeth at least twice a day. but do you guys floss before you take a brush. most of us take flossing for granted. after eating, specially after chewing a chunk of beef, some of the food get stuck in between your teeth. some believe that brushing alone is enough to rid of these. some are even scared that flossing can cause bleeding gums or gum problem. that's not true. the reason why your gums bleed is because you have gingivitis. of course don't overdo flossing. we should always floss after every meal and you will definitely feel the difference when you floss before you brush than brushing your teeth alone. have a good smile everyone.

1. tonijane016 (377) | 3 months ago | yes I use dental floss. using floss is very important because it removes other food residue trapped in between our teeth that eventually may cause tooth decay. But nowadays, there are toothbrushes with soft slim teeth bristles that can reach spaces even between the teeth. using mouthwash is helpful too. Like listerine ads say, 80% of bacteria are not on teeth. Good day. Happy posting.

4. luvstochat (5820) | 3 months ago | I use dental floss in the evenings before I go to bed. I brush my teeth first and then I floss them. I like the floss that comes on little sticks it is much easier to use then the string you have to pull out of a containor.

neilchua (270) | 3 months ago | i would suggest that you floss first before you brush. the rationale is if you brush first after you floss, the space that was covered by food that was stuck was not cleanse by your brush therefore possibility of more sugar substrates are left which is bad. try doing flossing first before you brush and you will feel the difference. i promise:)

5. snowy22315 (4745) | 3 months ago | I like flossing after I brush. The brushing i feel gets rid of any larg particles. I think the flossing removes smaller things. I am not a dentist or a hygenist so I dont know the proper method. This is simply what I do.
