Do you use 'TV on Demand' or Watch 'TV online'?

It is great to be able to have the option to watch TV on Demand and watch TV online which more TV channels are providing nowadays.
It gives one the flexibility of not planning to watch something on TV but to get to it when you can in your spare time. It also spares you the effort of having to record and set timers on VCR or similar devices, all the while hoping it is indeed recording or is not wiping some other material off the tape lol:)
I particularly like watching and catching up on my favourite episodes and series online as it is often too busy to watch TV or plan time for it so I get to it when I can.
Also some sites online keep you up to date with series especially those that air in the US months before they do elsewhere.
Do you use TV on Demand? Do you watch TV online? Has it given you some sort of new found flexibility? Do you prefer to watch your fave series when they air on TV or watch them in advance or after online? What are your views on this?
Do you love or loathe this merging of TV and the internet?

I have Direct TV and have the shows that I enjoy recorded. It's like Tivo. This way I go about life and can watch it at my leisure or if someone else wants to see it, at a later date, I can save it.
I don't watch it on the computer, truthfully, but I like having the option.

That's great. We do not have Tivo here, think it's mostly US. I would use it too if we did.

Well ; I too have heard a lot about TV on Demand or Internet Television .Yet ;I have not tried it out as yet .

i cant get into watching tv on my pc but i on demand a lot of things.. its nice knowing i dont have to plan my day around certain shows and dont have to buy a dvr or tapes and hope that my timer works.. there are several shows i do regularly which are on CBS because i never watch that channel and i dont have it in my favorites list so when im searching i tend to skip over it..
