My seven year old son wrote this letter for our family. I thought it was so loving that i wanted to share it with all on mylot.
Have taken out the names but also left in the spelling mistakes.
"I love you mum and B___ because you are the best mum and sister in the hole (world)universe ever. From K___ ______ xxxx yeah!" With two hearts at the end.
"I Love you K____ because your the best stepdad you could get on the universe eny where From K___ ______." Also with two hearts at the end.
"P______ and R___ and N____ are the best and funniest brothers in the world From K___ ______."
"Rock on"
It's little things like this that really makes you feel appreciated as a parent.
So i was wondering what little things has your child done lately to show how much they appreciate you?.

That is really cute. My son is coming here this weekend and I think he will do some painting for me that i cant get his dad to do. It will be really nice to have someone here that is tall enough to finish painting. One time he wrote me a card when he ws little and I still have it in my bedroom.

Hi littleone,
This is very sweet and touching...from the innocent mind and heart of any child, we always admire their sincere admiration to the people whom they loved for that care and love also that they received..It means that he is truly blessed to have a family as yours..I always write to my Dad and Mom when I was younger until cellphone came out..LOL! Now, I do txt them everyday telling them how much I treasure them and love them...I have no kids but when I was teaching, it will always bring me tears receiving letters from my students expressing how they appreciate my love and care to them!

Hi
Thank you.
Its great that you still let your mum and dad know how much they are loved.
It must feel good knowing that you touched children's life when you were teaching.

Every year, one of my daughters makes me a handmade card. This year for Mother's Day, she made one that had springy things on it. When you open it, the little notes spring up. What is unusual about this practice is my daughter is now 17 years old. I have to admit her cards have been very creative.
For Father's Day, she went old-school. She made a huge poster board card for her dad. She decorated it with colors, markers, finger paints and macaroni. Also, glitter. It was awesome. But it would not fit on the refrigerator.

That is so lovely that she is still making home made cards. You really can't beat home made cards from your children. Thank you for sharing.

I think that is a rgeat letter and the spelling mistakes make it even better, beacue you know he did it all on his own and spoke from the heart.

yes things like that do make you feel appreciated it. My son when he was about 3, came up to me after seeing i had been crying about something and says mom, i love you, you're my best friend. I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world. He is now 5 and his thing he tells me all the time now, is mom you are so pretty or so beautiful and you love me..thanks mom. talk about making my haert melt. The best part is, he just stops playign or whatever and comes and says it, not cuz im sad, or not cuz hes in trouble...just because..thats when you know they reallly really mean it.
