Abortion is a sensitive subject and it is a very difficult debate for me to get into. I personally am very against it after I saw the film "The Silent Scream". If you really want to influence someone, then ask them to watch this film. Its probably on youtube as well. There is also a website you could visit http://www.silentscream.org/. .

Well if I were you I would say it infront of him where you stand, you do not believe that abortion is the best solution to problem and you are not a supporter of abortion. I think from doing that he won't ask for help from you anymore. Influencing him at this moment I believe is not going to work as he is in crisis. I hope that he realizes his mistake and must face the consequences for their wrongdoing.

Like others stated here, I'm very much against abortion... Weather to help him or not is, of course, your choice... They say, it's easy to stick by your beliefs when the times are easy... Make your stand & flat out tell him you will not help him abort the baby because weather it's right or wrong, it's against your belief to go through abortion & for you to assist someone in doing so... If you're willing to help him through the process of giving him advice on where to go & who to talk to, then yes, put an honest efforts into looking for alternative means to an abortion... There're times to be nice & there are times to stand by your conviction... When you say he's keeping calling you & asking for help, what kind of help is he looking for? Finding a means to abort the baby? If that's the case, I'd tell him, "Look! I'm completely against abortion... Even if I had a knowledge of how to, weather by pills or abortion clinic, I wouldn't tell you because that would go against everything I believe... I don't appriciate you keep calling me & asking me to put aside my beliefs... What you believe & what you do with your belief are your business... Don't call me again to help you with this abortion ever again!!!" That should take care of the calling part...
