I can understand that sometimes you have to stay awake many nights in order to get stuff done, and the longest I have every stayed awake at one time was fourty eight hours and then I sleep for twenty four hours straight without waking up,which I think it kind of scared my parents, even though I could probably have stayed awake longer if I had tried, but now that I am getting older,it is harder to stay awake for long periods of time without falling asleep, and now me and fiance usually stay up twelve hours, and then I sleep twelve hours.

That's right.. Although I think I'm getting really old.. I get easily tired these days. I don't think I'd want to do that again... :)

Thanks. I am a nocturnal creature myself. I am simply more "creative" at night I reckon. lol

I know what you mean,I feel like I am getting really old too, because for some reason I keep getting easily tired,I believe it is because I have heard that people who stay up all night age faster than those who sleep at night, which kind of sucks if you ask me,and I do still like to try to stay up as long as I can because it is fun lol, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

I'd have to say back in the day, when I was maybe 15-17 I would sometimes stay up for like 3-4 days in a row regularly, maybe 5.. but I can't really remember.
When I finally slept I think I usually was out for a good 20+ hours at a time! These days I can't really do that anymore, I get too wiped out. I think now the most I could stay up if I was really trying is 1.5-2 days. I'm still a major insomniac, but I get worn out easier now, and that's odd, because it's not like I'm that *old* LOL I'm only 25. I sometimes wonder if my years spent regularly not sleeping for days at a time might have messed me up. Who knows. LOL

Messed up is actually possible... I'm usually clumsier and more forgetful whenever I'm not getting enough sleep -- plus the mood swings! lol

hmmm.. dunno about the GM diet plan but any diet is good for me too I reckon... but I probably ought to manage my time more carefully lest I get sick.
Thanks for sharing :)

Five days...
I was doing a project for the VAN HEUSEN FASHION SHOW last year that i needed to finish the videos/graphics and other things before the said event. it took me 5 days cause of the delayed in giving me the materials. So I end up not sleeping for 5 days. Until i finished everything. I wasn't able to attend the fashion show cause i almost fainted. I just sent someone to bring the materials. But the outcome was great. I was praised for a job well done. It helped also that i have insomnia.
