Is going to church will save you?

in my opinion and belief, going to church won't save a soul. Only Jesus Christ can save us, believing and trusting Him can only save us. it would be unfair if going to church is the way to heaven. for example, how about the people in a communist countries. they are not allowed to go to church. another example, tribe people. most of them live in an isolated places that is very far from the city where churches are.

last sunday we went to church and the priest said that if we go to church every sunday then that would be a lot of times in a year.... and to add up all the sundays with the past years... that would really be a lot more. but the priest said it seems like we are not learning, we never change. some are still gossip seakers, some are still telling a lie, some are still having bad habits and vices. so for me going to church will save you if you live what you learn.

No, I don't believe that going to church will save us from our sine. Asking Jesus into our hearts and confessing our sins to him is the only way to have sins forgive. We go to church to worship God and to receive encouragement from fellow Christians. We are all tempted and need encouragement to not sin. Even just in our thoughts we sin. The only way to be forgiven them is to confess them to God.

Going to church is really the first step to being saved. To be honest, there is a lot of people going but not doing the right thing. Now, taking the next step to being close to God and developing a personal relationship with Him, now that's the thing there. You do that by praying, reading his word(the Holy Bible) and living according to His will. If you have a relationship with him and seek to do as He says, then that will save you. When you tell others about what He has done for you, you spread the news even further and you may even have someone who has been seeking but didn't know where to go and you told them bringing in perhaps someone else who needs the Lord. it doesn't mean that always going to church will save us from the fire of hell. even if you always go to church to attend mass if you always do bad things with other people you will still not be save. the best thing is that if we go to church, we must confess with our sins and do our best not to do it again.

I personally think that going to church is not the reason why one will be saved. It is by having faith in what Jesus did for you and me as the answer of getting rid of our sins, then going to church will just be an avenue of how you love Him and how you desire to know more of His word.

going to church can't save you. some people i know go to church just to show that they are HOLY, but their actions are NOT. FAITH will save us not religion and not church, FAITH in JESUS it is clearly in the bible. i dont go to church most of the time because of so many people who are like the one i mentioned above, just showing up to be called HOLY which is not nice, you can pray at home anywhere as long as you have it in your heart.

I think going to church and then doing all sins wont help in anyway. First thing is get control over your sins. secondly try to help people who are in need. and then last but not the least go to the church.
