How many times a baby should take a bath?

you are true but 2 bath in one day is too much.

take care of the fact it could become more sensible and develop some allergy.

I have made to my baby on bath daily until he was 6 month and

then only 1 bath at 2 days, on my doctor recommandation.

Of course i clean him between legs and under arms and neck and in every sensible ways.

I think giving baby 2 baths a day is too much unless the doctor recommended. Plus as the baby gets older how are you going to find the time to fit it all in.
Too much bath may dry up the skin.
Its true warm bath and massage will help baby sleep better so its best to keep for evening.

Hi Ms amzwafa.. I think the two dudes are right.. I think your uber reacting or uber protective to your baby. According to research, I have read this somewhere at the Internet I forgot what site---- that baby should only have 1 bath a day, because baby skin are still sensitive and also don't disturb your husband to prepare for the baby bath, especially when he is sleeping... OK ^^

Babies have very sensitive skin and don't get very dirty. A baby only needs a bath once every 2 days. Too often can be very drying for a baby's skin. In between baths just clean the diaper area, face and hands well.

Giving your baby 2 baths a day will take away all the natural oils on his/her skin. Soon she will have chapped skin even using the special baby bath products. Just give him/her a good wash in the morning. Only give him/her a bath in the evening before you put him/her to bed for the night.

when my children are still babies i give them a bath twice a day. just make sure that the water is in a good temperature. my mom taught me to feel the water with our elbows. if the water is just warm enough then we can use it laready for our childs bath. until now that my children are already teens they still bathe twice, and one is always beofre sleeping.

A babies skin is sensitive and dry. If you clean them too much you can dry their skin out and it could get rashy. I give my son a bath every three days plus he gets wiped down with water and a wash cloth.

To get your baby to sleep you can swaddle, sway, soosh. Enjoy your little one. They are only so little for a short time:)

Babies have really delicate skin. Every other day is good most of the time unless the baby gets really dirty during the day. Their diapers are changed so frequently that their bottoms get cleaned quite often. I think twice a day is too much, but if your baby's skin is handling it well, I don't see why you should stop. I'm sure he likes it.

i usually bath my baby once a day...

when she's sick specially now that she's teething, i dont bathe her. i just wipe because they said its not good when you bath the baby while she's teething.

i just bathe her every other day.
