Some thoughts on life.  

Your question is quite deep.

Why do we exist? Why are we here? I too have asked these questions, but, I guess, in living we will learn eventually why we do exist and why need to undergo several kinds of emotions.

In the end, it is the kind of life we live with and how we touched other people's lives matter. :)

what youre frend said is an old american indian saying, i think, if i recall it correctly, but im pretty sure its not his, ive red it in some compilation of old sayings, but true life is too short to be anything else but happy, right now that is just my goal, no seeking enlightenment or whatsoever about lifes meaning, live daily, deal with problems daily, just that sort of things, questions about life really wont get you anywhere, no one can really give you an answer about it, its just tiresome, let go of it and just live

I think that we are here to make a difference and I think that everyone can do better in life if we unite behind a common cause and make a difference. We all have a choice over a period of time and sometimes we don't have to died to experience hell. Heaven can begin here on Earth if we make the right choices and if we bring happiness to ourselves and others.

I don't think any truer words have ever been said Pose. I do tend to think a lot about when I will die.. I know that I have much more time behind me than I have in front of me... that being said... I think I am here to love everyone that will let me, and be the best person I can be. To offer a helping hand when I can. I don't think the true meaning of life is experienced in the love of self, but in the love of others.

I like to think of life and death as a cycle of learning. There are things we can only learn while we are alive, here, on the physical plain. There are things we need to do and understand as our soul apart from its mortal coil.

I do not believe in the finality of heaven and hell. There would be no point - no room for growth or improvment if our souls were sent to a place of eternity. Furthermore, I know of quite a few people who could use more than one trip through the rinse cycle, if you know what I mean.

I believe that each life is a new oppurtunity to learn, grow, and love. What would be the point of existance if you got -one- shot to learn all there is to learn about life? There is no refinment there... only crime and punishment. Not to mention the idea of spending my eternity in ANY one place sounds dull beyond paralell.

I strongly agree with what you have said. However, I cannot help but worry. I look forward to death in the sense that I see it as another adevnture... however its the manner of my death that worries me sometimes.

Hey I like that. That was pretty deep and cool. I don't know about anyone else, but I sure hope to be laughing when I leave this world. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." I can not think of a better place for me to be.

I like what your friend said. That is pretty awesome to think about. I don't believe anyone has a purpose other than the one(s) they give themselves. If they want a purpose, they create one, otherwise.... we are just kind of here doing our thing.

This is what I believe happens. My belief is that we don't die, only our earthly bodies do. As for the meaning of life, I think we come to earth for multiple lifetimes in order for our souls to grow spiritually. By learning lessons here on earth, we're growing spiritually, and becoming more evolved than we were before each lifetime.

I don't know that it's possible for us to ever feel truly content with what we've achieved before we die. We master one thing, but then there's always something else we'd like to master before it's our time to leave Earth.

In my own honest belief, looking forward to the great divide without fear or apprehension is just a step away, It is by Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. Why because He is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Life is short. We will all die as it is appointed unto men once to die and after this the judgment. Sin separates us from God but He's love is so great that He gave His son Jesus to die for our sins and hence only through accepting and believing this reality should we find salvation. This acceptance of Jesus as Savior is coupled by repentance and complete turnabout from the former sinful life because there is a new man born in you. A new man who would live his life on earth to please and glorify God.

Yes, I came into this world crying and now I am assured of smiles on my lips on the appointed time I'd leave this world because I have the blessed assurance that Jesus is mine!
