School Friends, Friends in General  | |  I am one that love to keep friends forever. I have them and no matter how far I am, I keep in touch, or I think about them a lot. Do you have friends you still keep in touch with since school or moving? I just found three of my school friends, and that is awesome. I have a lady I have known for 30 years and we talk twice a year on the phone. Its strange, how life keeps me moving, and I am able to keep up with my friends of the past, to reminisces the old times; good or bad. Is it just me, or do others do the same or have done the same? thanks

 lynn2457 (196) | 2 months ago | see, I am the same way, I was 12 when I first met this family and helped babysit the boys, they are grown now and married with children and we are still close, even though we are like 1200 miles from each other, I have never lost touch with them either. I love to keep track and follow the growth of the children and my friends. I guess I am strange, but I feel we never can have to many friends. old or new.

I often wonder what happened in their lives. There is currently 900 kms (560 miles) between my best friend and myself. We are in constant telephone contact and are still very much a part of each others lives. We are both determined to hold onto our 25 year friendship and hope to meet up again soon.

Which is great. now not being in the states, I am not sure if there is a site that has classmates, but, the ones, I do not talk to leave me messages and tells me what is happening, and then I may not hear from them again, and there are a few that has now gotten back together, by email. we are over 1000 miles apart also, but it is nice to be able to talk on the phone. I agree, it is a great part of one's life. thank you for sharing. Now I have never done a reunion, never could get the time to make it, and not sure if I ever wanted to, maybe that was it. also. strange huh, but, it all works out I guess. | |

She was still using her maiden name, luckily - so we've been catching up through emails! Amazing - we last saw eachother about 33 years ago, and she's now married to a Turkish man and was living in Turkey!

I could not think I would remember half or many even of the group of people I went to school with. I do remember a few, like the one that I went to the 5th grade with in one city and when I ended back in the 7-11th, she was there, it was weird for I had moved so many times, and then to find her in the same jr. high was interesting. But, good luck, in finding your friends, and you should check the classmate.com, for your school and see how many have found the site and such. It might be interesting. I love it. thank you | |
