favorie genre

My favorite is pop and rock from the 80's and 90's. I like any music from the late 60's to the mid 90's. I like to listen to music on my ipod. This weekend my son imported music from a heart cd to my ipod. It is very nice to have that on there. I guess I should try to sell my old cd player. THey are becoming things of the past.

When I was young, and not exposed to very much in the way of music, my favorite music was country. The old stuff, Johnny Cash, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, etc. As I got older, I entered school and started hearing what my peers were listening too. I moved to rock, and specifically Heavy Metal. Now that I am older I still am into rock, more like new rock, that which they used to call alternative. I also still like some of the older rock that I used too. Recently though, I have, thanks to the anime Cowboy Bebop, gotten into jazz. more than just that jazz from Cowboy bebop, I live Coltraine and Davis, etc.....

I really like underground hiphop and classic rock. I listen to very little contemporary main stream music today but I like some stuff like Norah Jones, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Joe Purdy, Landon Pigg, Gary Jules, etc.

I like to listen to all types of music. However, pop, dance, and r&b are my favorites.
