familar actor's face that you can't place?

do you ever watch a tv show or movie where you see a face that looks familiar and you can't remember what movie or tv show that you saw him or her in? then you are distracted by trying to remember. sometimes you do and you feel great. sometimes you can't remember then you can't rest until you find out where you remember them from. do you have total recall?

That happens to me alot. My husband can always remember the movie or tv show that the person played on and he will keep on me about do you know what show that person was on and it will distract me driving me bonkers trying to think of it.

Hello greenglitterturtle,
Yes that hahappened to me not so long ago I saw Jane Wyman film anthen I was trying remember the old T.V. series she was in I knew it was something to do with vineyards but for the life of me I could rember the titled name, it was really bugging me all week, then one night I was asleep I suddenly shouted

I was trying to remember the T.V. series Jane Wyman was in and for the life of me I couldn't remember it, for weeks I tried to think but no I couldn't then one night I was asleep and woke up shouting !"Falcon Crest!" my husband sat say "whats a matter, whats a matter. I said remember now and he said "you don;t have to about it at this time of night"he he.

I have had that experience before. It also happens with movies. I oftentiems can remember what the actor was in before but I just can not remeber his or her name.
That happened just last night with a movie called suspect zero. I recognized ben kingsley but the actor that was playing the FBI agent I was clueless on, although I'm pretty sure he was in Thank You for smoking.

Hahaha, this is one of those things that are really funny and really bugs me when it happens. I love watching TV shows and movies and am always excited to see some familiar faces. If I can't remember the name of that person, I'll try to look it up on imdb to finally get some rest from the bugging thought. In case I don't have the chance to search for it, it just stays on my mind. Sometimes, I remember those names. They just pop up around 2 or more days later. After remember the name, I feel relief :P

yes, and i feel there is no end to this. because i just saw a movie monday and there were 3 faces that i thot i knew but couldn't remember from where and i was again a distraction. but as you say, we can look it up. the internet is a life saver.
