I worked in a bakery. That doesn't sound bad at all, does it? But my boss was a tyrant! He was completely disrespectful to anyone under the age of 40, which included me, because I was 19 at the time. As an example of his snottyness, he had a sign up that warned students they could only be in the bakery, one at a time. He was afraid they would shoplift, (attached gift store) and he thought they were noisy and underfoot. So the students used to come and peer in the window to make sure there were no kids inside before they entered. Sometimes we would have 10 kids peering in. One day he wanted me to go out and tell the kids they were not allowed to look in the window, and I said, "It might be better to just let them come in, and then if any of them are unruly, we could tell them they won't be allowed to come anymore if it continues." He gave me a dirty look, that I can still see today, 23 years later, and he said, "Oh, do you think so?! Well, this is just like the army, and I don't want to hear your opinion, unless I ask for it! Now go tell them to get away from my building." Worst job ever! and I did daycare in my home for 15 kids once. :)

that would be a hospital as a nurse. haha.. yup you read it right. im a nurse and now i realized that i don't really enjoy what i am doing. i also realized that i should have entered the interior designing profession. i love to draw and decorate houses with stuffs. thanks to the game the sims that i got hooked in since the year 1998. haha. i just don't like the fact that we take so much of our time working as a nurse but get paid really low. not very satisfying but to other countries like the US, UK nurses there get paid a lot. but i have to go with the flow because this is what my parents wanted me to take. good thing i passed it with flying colors and made it to becoming a licensed nurse. oh well, this is my destiny and i just have to follow what ever happens.

Hahaha, Dad2spots, you made my day with this post, and gave me a good chuckle too. I grew up on a dairy farm and am very familiar with all aspects of cows! Phewwwwwwwwwwy...only a pig farm could be stinkin' worse lol. We've only quit being a dairy farm since my Dad passed, now I just have crops. One thing I don't miss is getting up at O'dark-hundred to milk all those cows and clean that huge barn.

When I was in High School, I worked at a hydroponic green house (they grew mostly lettuce). It was really hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Not as cold as outside, but colder than I like, especially since my fingers were always wet. The work was hard and the pay was not exceptional (minimum wage or there abouts). The beat times were when they sent me out of the greenhouse to do something.
