I used to always have an angel on top of my Christmas tree. The year before last, I found (in the family home attic) this big star that used to be on our tree when I was a child (I'm 57) This star is so old that they don't even make the light bulb for it anymore. So, I stripped out the wiring, and added some fine white stardust glitter spray on it (because it had yellowed a tiny bit over the years.) It brings back so many happy memories of when my folks were still alive, that I'll probably use it every Christmas now.

A star. We like stars. My mother had one named for me on the Star Registry and my brother David was born on Epiphany, the Star of David. Pretty funny.

we;ve had the same angel for our christmas tree for as long as I can remember. I think her head's been glued back on a couple times lol
My Mum tried to buy a new one, but it was really ugly so I hid it lol

We will usually put a 'star' on top of the Christmas tree some years it's a golden star other years it's a silver star.
We will also hang an angle beneath the star or Santa Claus decorations with a few other shiny Christmas ornaments. It would definitely look beautiful and 'Christmassy'.

We use a star that was passed down from my husband's grandma, to his mother, then to us. It means alot to my hubby because his grandma is deceased.
