Does anyone really gear up more for these "special" listing prices that eBay offers? I just found out they are running a 25 cent fixed listing special for a few days. To me that really isn't much of a deal. I guess if you have some higher priced stuff it will save you money, but I have also found when they do this there are many more listings thus your competition is greatly increased and number of sales doesn't necessarily go up a lot. What do you think?

I usually wait for those deals to start listing items. Or I try to at least. I do have some stuff I need to list too, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time yet.

That is my thing as well, I just don't have the time and when the sales come they usually give you very little notice.

Thanks for the best response! Yeah, they do tend to give short notice on these sales. I still need to list my stuff.

i think it is just a way to get traffic in ebay over the summer. typically the summer is quiet on ebay as people are not looking on there as much. but i have taken the opportunity to list some stuff on there this week...why not?
