Hi everyone!
Being successful in every aspects of life is everybody's greatest dream. But do you think one's success depends on his abilities, strategies, being intelligent and hard working? Or being successful would simply depend on one's fate?
Let's share views mylotters!

Success is also a state of mind. Not everyone sees success in the same light. If you picture success as how much material wealth and prestige you can collect in this life then I feel that you have missed the boat. Success is and should be a more personal and inner feeling.
Success should be the ultimate use of the gifts given to you at birth. It should be a test of your ability to apply all of your abilities to the maximum. If you achieve that, no matter what your actual life status, you are infact successfull.

I think that initially it could be either. However to sustain success you need a healthy balance of ability, strategy, hardwork, resources, ethics and passion for what you are doing.
Success is measured different by different people and doesn't always equate to the amount of money that you or your business generate. Society and others will usually equate it to dollars and cents. There are many people that make very little money at what they do but in there minds its successful because of different reasons. It could be that they are making a difference in peoples lives, they are fulfilling a dream or goal etc. For instance here in US most of the politicians and public service make very little money but they do it and are successful because of their committment to their communities.
For me I worked in corporate for many years developing my abilities and talents before I started my own business. In terms of finances one could say that its successful. For me its successful because I have fulfilled my goal of being self employed. I have a direct impact on peoples lives in a positive way. Thru my business people realize their dreams. And I absolutely love what I do.
My advice would be to find something that you love, that you would do for free. Develope the knowledge and skills that you will need to be good at it and do it to the best of your ability. The financial rewards will come as a result of the hardwork that you put in. Though not always right away.

I would definitely go with attitude. For me, skills can be improved, knowledge can be obtained, but attitude is a whole new story. Every one of us have a fair chance at success, it is mostly the attitude that makes it seem to be real hard to achieve. Chances will always present itself, but if we are courageous enough and always have a positive attitude, that is the road to success. It knocks on our doors but it's our decision if we want to open it or not.
If only it was as easy as being served on a silver platter. But it really isn't. We need to have faith. Faith in ourselves, faith in those who loves us, and faith in those who believe in us. Stay positive in whatever we think. There will be expectations in what we do. Instead of just meeting them, aim to excel and go beyond expectations. There will be times when a test of character is at hand. These are quitting points. Break through it and you're steps closer to your goal. Take care my friend!

I believe that success is such a hard thing to measure. However, it is dependent on one's own definition (just because others don't think you are successful doesn't mean you don't think you are successful). It also depends on hard work and using your abilities to the best of your ability. After all, if you have great abilities but don't use them then they won't take you anywhere. "Fate" is a hard thing to give credit, but on the other hand the right place at the right time certainly doesn't hurt anything. We all have to live with things that happen, good or bad, and often what we make of those things has a huge deal to do with how successful we are.

Yes being successul depends on one's abilites and not fate. To be sucessful in life you need to control your own life and not let others control your life. You need to take the right action and strategies to gain success in life. Working hard is ot enough. You need to work smart.

i believe that your success will depend on you, because it's you who'' decide what to do, when, why and how.. you must first know your talent, your asset, where you excel the most, and at that point you should start building your confidence.. you need to know more of that asset, of that talent, for it to become profit, make it a living..
you'll reap what you saw.. i believe it.. hope i've help!!
