I didn't know that there was a curbside pick up in our neighborhood for recyclables, because i just moved here. i also just found out today. but now that i know i'll try my best to recycle. I also wanna try to reuse, i have for the most part, but i wanna reuse it in a project or something. what about you.

You are lucky, we do not have curbside pick up for recycling. We just started recycling Jan 1st (New Year's Res.) Every Tues. we haul it to the bins about 10 blocks from here, not really that bad. I am amazed at the difference in our reg garbage. We used to put 3-4 garbage cans out every week, now only 1. nettyB

yes I do but we do not have the facilities set up in our community for this. I wish we had places that would take our stuff. I think each area should be required to have recycling centers that take everything. How are we supposed to recycle?

It's hard to feel guilty when I don't recycle, because in this city recycling is the only way to go. We have a system of bag sorting where cans and paper and glass go in one bag, biodegradable stuf goes in another, and the rest goes into a clear bag. This is mandatory, so in my hometown we all recycle.
