A 'donations' link on your blog / myLot

I have heard about these donation links on one's blog and I may have come across one on one of the blogs I visited. Apparently these work for some people and maybe it depends on what your blog is about? or does it not

? Which sites provide these? Are you using it on your blog and can fill us in on how it works and if you've been lucky with it?

I haven't added a donations link to my blog yet, but I was playing with the idea. I'm not sure why it will work or how it will help my efforts in trying to earn a few extra bucks each month as a stay at home mom.

I think if someone really likes your blog and gets some good ideas or info from it, they might leave you a 'little tip'

if they're not too stingy that is...
