Kids always tells the truth, or are they? When I read this notes in RD, I can't help but manage to smile also.
A woman with her 3 year old daughter and her mother went shopping. Woman's mom rather a large woman sometimes has a tough time finding just the right fit. When her mom picked out a yellow suit, woman's daughter went into the dressing room with her grandmother. A moment later, she asked her grand daughter how she liked the outfit. The 3 year old girl replied with wide open eyes, "Oh, Nana, you look so very pretty--just like a big yellow school bus!"
Not surprisingly, the suit remained in the dressing room!
Now truth will always set us free??? LOL!!! have a nice everyone!!!!

Hahaha...so that is what we called honesty can be sought tru children hehehe.. If we want the best and honet response you can ask a child and sure you'll get the best one. I just hope the woman will be nice enough to acccept the hurt and never feel bad towards the child hehehehe joke!!!!

yeah, I found it that way, just imagining the face or reaction of the folks,,but that's how kids is, come to think of it, they really just say what they say without even thinking about it...hehehhehe

Well, for me, I am not sure this is the type of compliment I would be expecting or wanting especially when trying on clothes in a dressing room especially if there was a possibility others could here what is being said, and sometimes how I look while doing this. But I am sure this was embarrasing to say the least, and I wonder if it helped her make and decisions and choices for her life from here?

Oh heavens! That is funny, but I'm glad she didn't say it to a stranger. I've seen so many parents mortified by what comes out of their children's mouths when they talk to people around them. Even if you do your best to teach children manners, they are still only children and apt to say whatever pops into their heads. I know I did when I was a child, and it used to get me into a whole lot of trouble!

Bless her heart!! Don't ever ask a child if you don't want the truth because they will be very blunt LOL!!

lol the damn things children say.
but i still agree that truth will always set us free. if the woman was asked instead of her daughter, i'm sure nana would have gone home with the yellow suit. we were taught to be nice about things we say. but does that mean we should let our loved ones go out in something that is really not that nice? we try to be coy and say ambiguous things when asked. then nana will go out in the yellow suit with everyone thinking - 'wow she looks like a big yellow school bus' but no one will say it out loud. that's even worse for nana i believe. cheers
