Its really surprised me today!

Yep, there are still quite a few bugs that need to be worked out. I was getting strange error messages the other day but I haven't been online much since then and I understand that they shut down for a bit yesterday so they're getting there.

These things do happen. So bugs are anywhere but I won't get annoyed.

Everytime we get an upgrade we have bugs for a few days.
Hopefully it will be sorted out soon.

That's funny, but not really funny at all considering the effort
we put into our responses. I never had that experience though
and I haven't seen any bug here except that when I opened
my browser, I was logged out by mylot.

So I just log in and check the "remember me" box. I hope they
won't log me out next time.

I thought I have encountered a bug earlier but it was really my
fault. A member here is asking how to add text to an html code
without making it appear that the text is glued to the banner.
I type some codes and when I pressed the "post response"
I was send to the same page with my response gone. I do it
over and over about five times before I knew that I am not
allow to post html codes here.

Before, when I post html codes, I receive warnings. But now I
don't so I thought it was a bug.

Maybe mylot should reinstate that warning thing.

Well, I was unaware of the smileys until recently. I don't think 200 is a milestone but 500 really is. Since then I'll be able to copy and paste.

hey, even i found this problem with mylot many a times. Actually it so happens with me that being a slow connection, the web page expires, or it may take time to post a response. so what i often do, i copy the response before submitting it so that in case, if it fails to post, i can paste it and post it again.
But to my surprise, sometimes it happens that when i paste, a message box appears saying that ur post couunt needs to be more than 500 to paste in mylot. I get surprsied bcoz my post count is already more than 500. And then i realise that mylot has logged me off. And it keeps happening frequently.
Mylot keeps disconnecting me often and this bug has recently been introduced after the new appearance of mylot. It really irritates me at times.
I hope,mylot gets rid of this bug as soon as possible..

Yeah? hmmm... i guess so too, i absolutely didnt like tha lay out in the first place, with less features, and plain and boring, and on top of it, it doesnt function properly...i guess things should be bought to mylots notice?

lol guess there really are bugs here. just yesterday i had added a picture to my post but it didn't come out. a few posts later, the picture appeared in my response to another discussion! it was a totally irrelevant picture and i was quite embarrassed. another bug seem to be logging out users halfway through discussions. hopefully mylot will do something to settle these bugs soon. cheers;p

It is a bug out there, and me too experience the same problem. But i have a solution for you, irrespective of whether the problem is fixed or not, if you use Firefox browser.

Just go to Mozilla sites, or to download.com, and search for the free addon " GREASE MONKEY" once you install this, the unforeseen errors like, this, and the server disconnection can be overcome. I think the are free softwares available.

Because, this Grease monkey keeps in memory of what you have typed.. before the unforeseen error you have encountered. You need not retype the entire text.

i got that too before subha. it really got me wondering because i have never encountered that error before and its totally a wrong error since i have more than 200 posts. and then i noticed that instead of my username along with the new discussion, profile, earnings and logout links, i saw the link for sign in and sign up. and i realized its because after a while of being idle here, we get automatically signed out. it was annoying because i had to sign in again and retype my response. but a friend gave me the solution, it was to click the box for "remember me" when signing in. that did the trick. i don't get automatically signed out anymore.
