Yes, it is true. After having been published several times at myLot that there is no climate crises as a result of man made global warming, the prestigious Science and Public Policy Institute publishes a peer reviewed scientific paper and gives lectures (PROVING) what many myLotters have known for a long time. There is no climate crises. Here are the facts. Global warming is happening, is not man made, and will likely result in only about 1 degree F increase in temperature in the next century. (Sound familiar?) You can read about it here. http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/press/proved_no_climate_crisis.html Even still, I recommend getting science information from places like the Science and Public Policy Institute rather than myLot. The guys there are real scientists, even if they are afraid to speak out early concerning controversial topics. What do you say? How can we sooner get scientists to tell us what they really think? You see, I am quite sure these scientists knew this was the truth much sooner than they had the courage to say it. Did you note the standing ovations at the lecture? That's from scientists who have known the truth for a long time applauding the man who spoke up. Your turn!

Regarding real bona-fide scientists saying that man-made global warming does not exist, I believe that they have been saying this all along. Man-made global warming is being touted by freaks like Al Gore because OBVIOUSLY he would know! I'm with you, I have never bought into this. Now they are back to global cooling. I am doing my best, I have an SUV and I try to waste energy as much as possible!

Man made global warming has always been bogus. This is a subject I really dug into to find out the truth. I found that anyone capable of doing college level science who looked into the arguements on both sides would have to conclude that not only was there not a man made global warming problem, but that possible fraud is involved. I'll say it again. Any intelligent math and science capable person looking into man made global warming objectively who considers both sides fairly will conclude man made global warming is not a problem and that the leaders of the man made global warming movement are possibly involved in fraud or really stupid.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I am not a science person. But it doesn't tale a rocket scientist to know that the dinosaurs did not have aerosol cans of deodorant to cause the ice age. Regarding this movement being a fraud, of course it is. How else can our government fix things for us. Then there is the carbon tax....... only a democrat could come up with this.

When science becomes politicized then it is no longer science and becomes a political agenda such as the man made global warming scam has become. I know these scientists knew the truth already... I have no doubt that many of them were among the 31000 that had signed that petition stating that there was no consensus about man made global warming, and that thing was started sometime in the mid 1990's if I remember correctly. The reason a lot of them have not been heard form is because the scientists were being muzzled by either their fascist employers or by their governments. Even here in the US many have been reassigned or fired because they didn't follow the company line and the Gospel According To Gore and the rest of the left wing loonies. The thing is that this may be too little too late, because we have a Congress and two presidential candidates who are determined that man is responsible for global warming and by God they are going to fix it! However they are mistaken, and we are likely to have a bunch of taxes and energy rates raised for no good reason. Anyway that what I have to say on it, because the more I type the madder I get.

The shear stupidity of the man made global warming believers is maddening. Something really does need to be done in the schools to better teach logic, reasoning, and objective analysis of facts.

Well finally someone has listen to us. We could have just save them the trouble if they had just come on to MyLot alot earlier. I might not be a scientist but I am a thinker, and sometimes what come out of my mind surpises myself. How long can an expert still be called an expert while getting everything wrong? Scientist have been getting global warming wrong for years, so sorry but I will not applaud them just because they finally got it right. It is their job to get it right, not just to try to prove their political positions through science.

Actually, I think these scientists were way ahead of us. They just feared for their jobs and had to really have their proof down solid before saying anything. The people pushing the scam were very well connected. Lot's of money was at stake. Your typical scientist is very vulnerable to innuendo ruining their careers.

I can't say that I instantly decided man made global warming was a fraud. It took a lot of work. The size of the deception is large enough to make it unlikely. Therefore, it really took some convincing for me. The problem for scientists who also suspected fraud is that parts of our government were in on this fraud and many scientists work in government agencies. The politics is such that speaking out threatened honest scientists' jobs and reputations.
