That is a big snake then! My hubby has a two year old Boa Constrictor, she is about 2 and a half years old and about 5ft long. I have no worries of finding her in my washing machine though as she is in a locked tank and so cannot escape!

Oh.. no.. i don't agree with you, on this.. Turning on the machine... i never will do it.. We have heard that snake charmers are nearby my town.. and surely i will close the lid very tightly..put some extra weights on the top of it.. and will go and find the snake charmer to catch this snake.

Hi dear friend! But the problem is, there are no snake charmers in my place. So, I will turn on the machine and watch him go round and round until maybe it gets dizzy or sick in its stomach. haha..Oh, well I will just go and look for someone to get that snake out my machine for I am going to do my laundry and it is getting in the way! haha.. Take care and God Bless!

I don't think I would shiek. Would say I would call for my husband but he hates and ummm I think snakes scare him and he would kill it. Snakes don't bother me unless they are posionious. I would call someone to come get it or try to get it in a pillowcase but more like wait for someone to come get it. But am sure I would get my camera because my friends wouldn't believe me other wise.

I know, I read that last night. That was crazy. I would have screamed my lungs out. I probably would have ran out of the house into the street screaming and no one would have been able to understand a word I was saying. That was so unbelievable. I still don't understand how that huge snake got through the pipes. How is that possible?

This is pretty scary. Espically since I am washing clothes today. If I had seen a python or any other kind o snake . I would have screamed. I am pretty scared of snakes. We do get quite a few snakes here in Florida in the United States. Good story although it is scary.

I would be shocked, but I wouldn't do anything to hurt the snake. I mean if one is found around here, it's a dumped pet. I'd call the local SPCA and get them to trap it and get it out. The snake never asked to be dumped in our inhospitable climate, so why kill it for the fault of it's human owners?

i would have done much the same thing she did by slamming the lid shut, but i would have put something very heavy on top so he could not get it open somehow. you never know. and then i would have called animal control as well. yikes!!! now i do not want to reach into my washing machine anymore.

They say that pythons are now becoming a huge problem here in the states. Florida especially they say. A recent story I saw said that in the next 10 years or so we can expect to see snakes as big as 20 feet or more. As for me, I think I'd be in trouble because I'd probably faint. Don't know. I know I have a huge fear of spiders and found several tarantulas in my screen porch last spring. THAT was not a good week.

Well there are other options available rather than the options you gave. Let me see. I may do any of the following: Put some detergent on the washing machine & start it. Throw boiling water inside the machine. It's even better throw boiling oil inside the washing machine Kill it with something & then eat it on dinner. Invite zoo employees at dinner so they can kill it & then i serve the snake to them. Actually i would not do anything like this. If i see a snake may simply loose my conscious or run away from it. One more thing I don't have to worry about a snake in my washing machine because i don't have one.lol

how scary would that be ,but I think to wake up and to have a black snake in bed with you is even more frighting, which is what happened to my dad.

Luckily it did not bite your Dad. Surely its more frightening than this one,.. Waking up.. in a calm relaxed mood.. and suddenly the BP.. rising to all time high..

If I would fine any kind of snake in my washing machine,I would run and scream. I could not get my husband to help cause he does not like snakes either.I would not be able to go back into my home untill the snake is removed from the washer.

Although I am not a lover of snakes I would not want to kill it. I would put the lid down and go to the phone and call the police or animal control. My first thought would be how in the world did it get in there to begin with. I would put a rock on the lid so the python could not get out. But I would try every way I could to get it out of the machine with of course the help of either the police or animal control or both. I do not like to kill any living creature.

Wow thats great an 8 foot snake found in washing mahcine! i wonder how big is the machine.. Same as here my mother found a snake in washing machine, as she opens the lid to load the clothes, she was surprised though she's not yelling but she tell my father that there's a snake in the machine not an 8 foot snake, but around 2 inches; she found a baby snake! struggling to get outside.. I wonder how he/she(the snake) get in where the lid and the hose to drain water is totally close. thats mystery,(maybe)..

We would have to move. My wife hates snakes so much she will run out of the room if they show one on television. She doesn't even like fake snakes or stuffed snakes. Fortunately up north it is a little too cold for the big ones like pythons.
