If you do an ingredient search you'll get many recipes using applesauce as an ingredient. I have never used it myself as I had no need to but alot of people say it's really good and keeps your baked goods nice and moist.

It does make muffins, cakes, brownies, cookies, and such moist and healthier. You can bake up big batches and then freeze them if you like. You can also mix some into pancake batter. You can mix it in with some acorn squash and cinnamon and bake. You could also layer it with yogurt, granola, fruit, etc for parfait--for breakfast or dessert.

6. bmorehouse1 (409) | 3 months ago | You can make Christmas decorations out of it. Seriously! I have done it. I don't know what I have done with the recipe, but it is basically just applesauce mixed with enough cinnamon to make a dough. Cut out with a cookie cutter, then bake. I have decorations that I made probably 5 years ago or more and they are still good. Hang them on your tree and they smell great! You could probably find the exact recipe on the Internet.
