do you still rate?

I started out like you, rating everything and then I slacked off for awhile but I'm trying to be consistant and to do it as often as possible.

hmm, I just read what you wrote and I now I have an idea what the stars are for. So maybe it is the rate you get from people? I have not rate anyone yet. But now I have an idea what the plus and the minus are for. Thanks to you. And so I will rate you as my first.

I must admit that I am guilty of forgetting to rate quite often. I try to do it every time, but often get so busy with the reading and responding that I tend to forget to do it. You brought out the guilt in me so I rated you positive before responding. lol

I was not really aware of the + -! ratings.I only knew it after some time.Though i give comments to my respondents but i never touched those signs.Until recently that i read giving out your ratings helps both you and your friends.Since then i started clicking all but positive ratings.I never give negative...id' better leave it unrated than give the - or! sign.Happy mylotting!!!

I try to rate everyone that I can. I don't like to rate negatively. I also don't rate for one word responses or one sentence responses, or anything similar to them just saying "I don't know" to asking a question. Those are not quality discussions and I feel that you should earn your rating by contributing something useful to the discussion. Other than that, I've gotten myself into the habit of going back to all of my discussions and rating people and picking a best response after the discussion either dies down or a few days pass. I think that most people on this site do not understand that there is a rating system, and that is why they do not rate. The same thing happens over at Helium, people tend to just write their articles and not use the rating portion too often, so you often have to wait a long time to see some results. I just started here and hope that I can keep up with rating everyone, because I type over 90 WPM and sometimes I write too much to keep up:D

HI!! I rate every discussion that I go to, I also rate the other responders, ALL positively. I won't rate negative for any reason. I'm too nice a person for that. I think it is essential that people rate each other, that's how our star's go up in number...Lori

Hi. I always rate discussions and responses. All positive. I just haven't find any discussions or responses that are negative.

Yes I am in the habit of rating every discussion I read, take part in and start. I automatically rate responses as I read them. Only sometimes will I leave one unrated if it is only four or five words long, or if it is off-topic.

Now I do it without thinking and I'm sure it helps everyone a little. As myLot pays us for participation it may do me some good too.

If I find some response to be good enough then I surely rate it with a plus mark. And its a good habit to do. Its good to encourage people to respond and if they are atleast writing some lines then they are willing to get something back.
