How you get over from your First love?

that is hilarious, yet ironic. I just broke up with my first boyfriend. I was never "in love" with him, we only dated for 2 months. but in the end I decided that I was going crazy and tried to limit contact down to nearly nothing. Does that make me immature? or just someone trying to hang onto a scrap of sanity by getting away from a colossal joy killer?

Time is the essence and the true way of getting over someone. I guess it wouldnt hurt if you had someone else that distracts you for the time being, but that isn't a healthy way to get over someone and I wouldn't recommend it. You can focus more on your hobbies, hanging out with friends more, etc. Those are healthier ways to get over a breakup.

That was cute, and definitely made me smile this morning! If ending things that way helped you get over your first love, then smile because you deserve it. To get over you first love, I would have to agree with previous posts about allowing time to get over the end of your relationship. In my experience, I still have feelings for my first love but not to the point where I would want him back. I'm happily married now and wouldn't change it for anything!

When we talk of love, its always childish and lovers are childish people. When we are in love its as if we and that person have our own world and the rest around us seem not to matter anymore and when people in love overdo that then there are lots of danger.

When I was in highschool, I just conditioned my mind to forget him and chose to treasure the memories we shared together, of course we were did not have the girl boy relationship but he was my crush. I chose to forget him and cried in silence for In know we will be sturdying in different schools.

CAll it fate or destiny but after six years of not seeing each other, we saw again in our classamte's wedding.And that was the start of a wonderful love story, the story of my first love.

To make the story short, after 8 years, we have found out that God needs us to do something for His glory so we decided to part each others path and end the relationship with tears and with joyful hearts to serve the Lord. Its nice to break our hearts for the Lord's sake for He will honor our tears.

Im getting over the first love through the comfort of God's word in my heart.

Im glad we still are freinds and still praying that someday, saomeday our paths of love would cross again.

first love and first broke-up is really such a painful experience especially if your a teenager. Can still recall the pain I experience, i thought of burning all the things a have that reminds me of him but on the second thought i never did. I just kept it in a box sealed and labeled it with RIP.

I think i know him. Hmmm.. i saw you crying and being scolded by our auntie that time that's why you did returned all belongs to him. Well, that was still a good choice of breaking him.
