Are you fond of using butter for your cooking or a spread in your toast? if you are, here is a sharing as to the other alternative, margarine. Butter is known to come from animal source. Margarine comes from plant source that is more healthy. However, both are rich in fats so still we need to watch out. Have a healthy life ahead!

I love cooking and I usually use butter especially when doing my chicken pasta alfredo. I have never been using margarine. However, it concerns me a lot when friends (mostly doctors & other colleagues) share informations that it is higher in fat.

In some cases margarine may be better than butter but not in all cases. Margarine that has transfat in it is not better than butter. Trans fats coming from the partially hydrogenated oils are not better than butter. Butter is from a natural source and used sparingly, I think it can be healthy. I have light butter in my refrigerator right now.
